Ostara - Spring Equinox

Spring is a time of warmth, joy, abundance, laughter, fertility of life, crops, family. Welcome the equinox through meditation, and by joining us in creating a despacho of gratitude, love, and community. We will drink ceremonial Cacao, join together creating the symbolic offering with our intentions set to our communities as a collective and Mother Earth. Then we will celebrate through a fire ceremony and Shamanic dance as our prayers are alchemised and transmuted by the fire.

What is a Despacho?

Similar to a mandala or sacred creation, the despacho holds symbolic elements and the prayers of the participants. All ingredients are bio degradable, and represent our intentions. Sugar for prayers of sweetness, Oats for prayers of good crops or abundance, fake paper money for financial stability etc. Once the Despacho is compiled, it is then wrapped in cloth and ceremonially taken and used to wipe clear the energy field of all participants. By using the high vibration of prayer put in to the Despacho it helps transmute the lower energy to a higher vibration. Then the Despacho is placed in the fire, buried, or in running water to be transformed.
